Classics at Glemham – Sun 6th Sept
A damp, but sunny early morning met us all as our Club Members drove their Classics to Glemham for our 2nd Club Stand at a Rally this season.
A big field in front of Glemham Hall, near Woodbridge was our location. This was soon filled with a sea of socially distanced parked Vintage and Modern Classic Cars of every make and model you could imagine, along with a gorgeous selection of high performance cars of interest, including Porsche, Lotus.
Glemham as a show, only now in it’s second year. Embraced and carried out Covid Government Guidelines brilliantly. It proves that with a good layout and thoughtful organisation, a Rally can indeed be done even in these current circumstances.
Not even having time too dust off our new Club Gazebo from Stonham Barns, we set up our stand in a line of variety. We had a very smart, but small group of 4 cars. A Modern 75 Estate, An MG ZT 260 V8, An MG ZT 1800 Turbo and 2 P5B Coupes.
Our Gazebo was so easy too see from a distance, all our Club Members who visited the show found us very easily and called by for a chat. It was fantastic to see so many of them, some of which we had not seen since last year.
