Well, on Sunday 5th September 2021, the NNROC finally held their, long awaited 43rd Annual Rover Rally at Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens.
The day started with mist and then the sun came out to make a glorious day for Keeping the Rover Name Alive. It had been 2 years since we had all meet up, due to Covid…and Boris. (enough said).
The queue at the gate was too early for our little over subscribed show. We are however, so lucky to have so much interest, and will welcome entries for next year after the New Year 2022, keep an eye on our website for news.
We were joined by our Sponsor Jason from J Moore Classic Cars Ltd, Stowmarket. Who is in the process of building a Rover P4 Woody….Wow, what a project and drawing lots of interest, Jason and Leanne spent all day chatting to interested Club Members and the public about the car. They also judged the Best Club Car award.
After the gates shut at 12 o’clock, people started to mingle and chat, some still, even after Covid lockdown holidays, cleaned and tweaked their cars…..
Then, the day was spent by everyone self judging the cars, this was not easy, the standard was so very high that so many people just simply couldn’t choose.
So the trophies were made by my husband Glen and son Sam.
The hard choices were made and the winners were presented with their trophies by our sponsor Mark Grey at MGBD Parts Ltd, Wolverhampton. Mark and his wife Angie selected the Car of the Show.
