STONHAM BARNS 16th August 2020

After a near full year of uncertain times…….. 13 brave intrepid Rover club members set out to Stonham Barns.

This was the very first large scale Rally the Club has attended since 2019. Set up began early and our new Gazebo proved very easy to assemble !!

Our Stand had 1 Jaguar (C/O Mr P Cane…..who’s P6 had misbehaved too much to bring ), A P5B, A P4, A Modern 75 Saloon, A Modern 75 Estate, A 216 Cabriolet and an MG ZT.

Cloudy, but dry weather saw over 700 cars arrive and a green field became a sea shiny paint and chrome. It was a wonderful sight for everyone after so long. Social Distancing was very respectful and there were lots of smiling faces.

With so many lovely Classics to see our members all took turns wandering as the temperatures rose higher and returning to our stand and our new gazebo for shelter and a sit down.

Well Done to Stonham Barns for being Brave in the Current Climate to host the Rally and thanks to the members who had faith enough to spend a fabulous day out with us.
