It was a privilege for the Club to put on a display of cars at Blickling Hall on Sunday 1st September.
Sixteen Club Members arrived early to park on the drive in front of the Hall, a prime position, not usually enjoyed by many.
There was lots of interest in the cars on show for the visitors to the Blickling Estate. Our Club had a good selection of Rovers of all ages. The earliest were 3 P4’s, then 3 P5’s, 4 P6’s, including an open top, an SD1, a 216 Convertible and up to the latest 75’s, of which we had 3. One member arrived in his second car, a Sunbeam Alpine, to complete our display.
The weather was good and members had time during the day to look around the Jacobean Hall, as well as enjoy the gardens and parkland walks. A few members also took time out to sample the hospitality of the local pub, the Buckinghamshire Arms.
Thankyou to our Club President, Gareth Phillips for arranging such a wonderful Visit.
